    6y = 7x + 8

    y = 7/6 x + 4/3

    Let 7/6 = M1,

    (M1) (M2) = - 1

    (7/6) (M2) = - 1

    M2 = - 6/7

    At (-1,-4),

    y = mx + c; y = - 4, m = - 6/7, x = - 1, c = ?

    -4 = (-6/7) (-1) + c

    c = - 34 / 7

    Hence, equation of the line is y = - 6/7 x - 34/7
