24 students in Mr. Brown's homeroom sold 72 magazine subscriptions. 28 students in Mr. Garcia's homeroom sold 98 magazine subscriptions. Whose homeroom sold more magazine subscriptions per student? Explain your reasoning.

    98 total magazine subscriptions sold : 28 students ≈ 3.5 magazines sold per students

    The answer would be Mr. Garcia's homeroom sold more magazine subscriptions because each student sold more than 3 magazines compared to that of Mr. Brwon's homeroom in which each student only sold 3 magazines.
