    f (x) = 12x

    Next we should insert x-6 as x in the equation

    This is f (x) = 12 (x-6) - 72

    But if you look at this that leads to 12x-72 (ignore y-intercept)

    That is our first equation

    This means that if you take out - 6 from the x

    You will get f (x) = 12x
