Ben paid $86 for 40 gallons of gas. How much would 15 gallons cost?

    Ben would pay $32.25 for 15 gallons of gas. First you have to divide 86 by 40 so you can get the price per gallon which is $2.15. Then you just multiply $2.15 times 15 gallons and you get $32.25.
