Solve this equation

    First we multiply the left side by the - 2 to get rid of the brackets:

    -2x + - 10 = - 3

    Next we add 10 to both sides to get x and its multiplier by itself.

    -2x = 7

    Now we divide both sides by two to get rid of the multiplier on x:
