Sharon has a piece of cloth of area 170 cm 2. can she make a square handkerchief with length of each side as 12.5 cm?

    12.5² = 156.25

    So yes, out of the cloth with an area of 170 cm², she can make the square handkerchief. She would also have 13.75 cm² of cloth left over.
