What is the slope of the line whose equation is 12 = 4x - 6y?

    It would be Y because the slope is 6 and 4 is the rate when is taking away so the answer would be 6Y

    12 = 4x - 6y

    Subtract 4x to both sides:

    12 - 4x = - 6y

    Divide - 6 to both sides:

    y = 2/3y - 2

    Now its in slope-intercept form, y = mx + b, where 'm' is the slope.

    So the slope is 2/3.
