    Answer: 4 toppings

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Hi, to answer this question we have to write a system of equations:

    For restaurant A, the total cost (A) is equal to the price of a pizza (9) plus the product of the price of each topping (1.25) and the number of toppings (t)

    A = 9 + 1.25 t

    Same for the total cost of restaurant B (B)

    B = 13 + 0.25 t

    So, both costs must be equals:

    A=B

    So:

    9 + 1.25 t = 13 + 0.25 t

    Solving for t:

    1.25t - 0.25t = 13-9

    1t = 4

    t = 4/1

    t=4
