Which shows the equation y + 2 = 3 (x - 2) written in standard form

A: y - x - 3 = 0

B: y=3x

C: y = x + 3

D: y - 2 = x + 3

    Standard form is ax + by = c.

    To change y+2 = 3 (x-2) into that form, do:

    y+2-2 = 3x - 6 - 2

    -3x + y = - 8

    Which is not in the list, so none of the answers are right ...
