If cos3a=sin (a-22°), where 3a & (a-22°) are acute angles find a

    Since they are acute, they lie in first quadrant

    how to check that they are correct?

    Substitute a=28 into the equation

    cos (3*28) = 0.104 ...

    sin (28-22) = 0.104

    hence it is correct
