How do you add a fraction 4/9 + 1/9 = a. 1/3 b. 3/9 c. 5/9 d. 2/3

    C. 5/9 because you don't change the denominator and 4+1=5 so it's 5/9

    The answer I believe is 5/9 bc 4+1=4 and the denominator stays the same so 5/9 is the full answer
