    The 8.1 rounds to 8

    8.5 rounds to 9

    8.9 rounds to 9

    a.

    8.1=$2

    8.5=$2.75

    8.9=$2.75

    b.

    7.25-2=5.25

    5.25-2.75=2.5

    2.5-2.75=-0.25

    cannot mail all three

    he needs $0.25 more
