A pair of jeans has a price tag marked $50. The store is having a one-day sale in which everything in the store is $22.22. How much money does a customer save on jeans if the customer pays the sale price instead of the price marked on the tag?

    Hello! To find out how much money a customer would save on a pair of jeans, all you have to do is subtract the sale price from the original price. You would subtract decimals the same way you would do whole numbers by lining them up by place value and regrouping as needed. 50.00 - 22.22 is 27.78. There.
