If the force F = - 30 units and the acceleration is a = 6 units, find the mass, m

    To find the mass you would do f = m times a or - 30 = m * 6 then you would get the answer as - 5 because - 30 = m * 6 and you would know that 5 * 6 = 30 but is the 5 is a negative then the 30 would also change to a - 30.
