    Step-by-step explanation:

    let the first integer is 'x', and by adding 1 in it we get the second integer that is 'x+1', and for third integer we need to add 1 in the previous integer i. e. is 'x+1' we get 'x+2'. Now all three integers we have are

    x, x+1 and x+2.

    since sum or add all three integer we get - 234. so

    x+x+1+x+2=-234

    x+x+x=3x, and 1+2=3

    3x+3=-234

    3x=-234-3

    3x=-237

    x=-237/3

    now the first integer is - 237/3 or - 79,

    second integer is - 78 and third integer is - 77.

    for verification add all three to get - 234.

    -79-78-77=-234. hence proved.

    -77, - 78, - 79

    Step-by-step explanation:

    let one of the integers be x

    since the integers are consecutive, the other 2 integers must be

    (x+1) and (x+2)

    given that sum of the integers is - 234,

    x + (x+1) + (x+2) = - 234

    x + x + 1 + x + 2 = - 234

    3x + 3 = - 234 (subtract 3 from both sides)

    3x = - 234-3

    3x = - 237 (divide both sides by 3)

    x = - 237 / 3

    x = - 79 (answer)

    hence the other two numbers are

    (x + 1) = - 79 + 1 = - 78 (answer)

    and

    (x+2) = - 79 + 2 = - 77 (answer)
