Can prime numbers be fractions?

    Depends on what you mean by "fraction". If you mean that it's been written in its simplest form, than no, as all prime numbers are integers. However, if you are allowing say the prime integer 3 to be written as equivalent fractions such as 6/2 or 9/3 etc then clearly yes.

    Primes are integers 2,3,5,7, ...

    yet any number you can express it in different ways such as 2/1, 9/3, 5/1, ...
