    X + 75 = 90 - x

    I'm reading this as though it said ... 76 degrees less than the measure of ITS complementary angle. If that's not right, I don't know how to solve it.

    Add x to both sides.

    x + x + 75 = 90

    2x + 75 = 90 Subtract 75 from both sides.

    2x = 90 - 75

    2x = 15 Divide by 2

    x = 15/2

    x = 7.5 If that's not right I don't know how to interpret the question
