    X^2 - 6x = 20

    x^2 - 6x + 9 = 20 + 9

    (x - 3) ^2 = 29

    x - 3 = (+-) sqrt 29

    x = 3 (+-) sqrt 29

    x = 3 (+-) 5.39

    x = 3 + 5.39 = 8.39 <=

    x = 3 - 5.39 = - 2.39 <=

    X^2-6x + (b/2) ^2=20 + (b/2) ^2

    x^2-6x + (6/2) ^2=20 + (6/2) ^2

    x^2-6x + (3) ^2=20 + (3) ^2

    x^2-6x+9=20+9

    (x-3) ^2=29

    x-3=5.38 or - 5.38

    x=5.38+3 or - 5.38+3

    x=8.38 or - 2.38
