    q cannot equal 0. 0.3 = 3/10 (the numerator and denominator are integers and the denominator is non-zero) 0.3 is neither an integer nor a whole number. Whole numbers are the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ... (and so on) Integers are like whole numbers, but they also include negative numbers. (fractions are not allowed) They include: positive integers {1,2,3,4,5, ... }, negative integers{-1,-2,-3,-4,-5 ... }, and zero.
