Which has the greater volume: a prism with a length of 5 inches, a width of 4 inches, and a height of 10 inches, or a prism with a length of 10 inches, a width of 5 inches, and a height of 4 inches? Justify your answer

    The have the same volume. This is because when you use the formula for volume of a prism, v=lwh or v=bh, in each set of numbers you get the same thing. So, 200=5 (4) 10 and 200=10 (5) 4.
