A trailer can haul 15 tons of freight, and a loadmaster (person who plans and loads trailers for over-the-road hauls) has an order to ship a truckload of bacterial hand soap to a Super Store Distribution Center. If one carton of the soap weighs 12.5 kilograms (including the weight of the carton and its contents), how many cartons can be loaded on the trailer without exceeding the weight limit?

    1 US Ton = 907.185kg

    15tons x 907.185 = 13,607.775kg (trailer's capacity)

    13607.775 / 12.5 = 1088.622

    1088 cartons can be loaded.
