The perimeter of a rectangle is 36 menters. The length of the rectangle is 4 meters longer than the width. Find the length and the width of the rectangle.

    Width = x

    Length = x+4

    P=2L+2W

    P=2 (x+4) + 2x=4x + 8

    36 = 4x + 8

    4x = 28
