What's the answer of e^ipi

    If I remember correctly, e^ (ia) = cos a + i sin a. This is Euler's Formula, which you should look up.

    If that's correct, then e^ (i*pi) = cos pi + i sin pi. This reduces to

    e^ (i*pi) = - 1 + i (0) = - 1.
