M+4 (2m-3) = - 3. what is the answer

    M+4 (2m-3) = 3

    distribute 4 to (2m-3) ... and you get 8m-12

    we have M+8m-12=3 now

    so add 12 on both sides

    and you have M+8m = 15

    i'm assuming M and m are like terms so I add M+8m = 9m

    we have 9m=15

    then divide by 9 on both sides

    and you get m = 15/9 or 1.6667
