X^2 + 8x + 8 = 0
⇒ (x+4 - 2√2) (x + 4 + 2√2) = 0
⇒ x = - 4 + 2√2 or x = - 4 - 2√2
Final answer: x = - 4 + 2√2 or x = - 4 - 2√2
