    8x - 5y = - 25

    Subtract 8x from both sides

    -5y = - 25 - 8x

    Divide both sides by - 5

    y = 5 + 8/5x

    y = 8/5x + 5

    -2x - 5y = - 25

    Add 2x to both sides

    -5y = 2x - 25

    Divide both sides by - 5

    y = - 2/5x + 5

    These are the equations, and at x = 0, (0, 5) these coordinates are where these equations intersect. The solution is (0, 5) or x = 0 for both of these.
