Subtract 5x-6 from 7x-1

    because you are subtracting it is basically multiplying (5x-6) by negative one so you have to distribute it out so you are basically adding (7x-1) and (-5x+6) by adding like terms you get 7x-5x = 2x and - 1+6=5

    so the answer is 2x+5
