Rachel is running the Challenge of Champions obstacle race at her summer camp. She runs 7/8 of a mile, but then she twists her ankle while going up the Mounds of Doom. Rachel still has 5/8 of a mile left to run, so she drops out of the race. Which equation can you use to find the total distance d of the race?

    Total distance of the race, Dt = distance ran before the injury, Di + distance left after the injury, Do
