The system of equations that can be used to find x, the cost of each jersey, and y, the cost of each pair of shorts is shown. 12x + 12y = 156 4x + 6y = 62 What is the cost of each jersey?

    12x+12y=156

    4x+6y=62

    12x+12y=156

    -12x-18y=-186

    -6y=-30

    y=5

    12x+12 (5) = 156

    12x+60=156

    12x=96

    x=8

    i used elimination.
