How do you solve x^2+4x-5=0

    Actually the answer is (-1,5)

    x^2 - 4x - 5 = 0

    x^2 - 4x = 5

    x^2 - 4x + 4 = 5 + 4

    (x - 2) ^2 = 9

    x - 2 = ± 3

    x = 2 + 3 and x = 2 - 3

    x = 5 and x = - 1

    {-1, 5}
