Lila bought a green poster that measured 36 inches by 24 inches and a red poster that measured 12 inches by 18 inches. If the posters cost $0.05 per square inch, how much did she spend?

    36 x 24 = 864 sq. inch

    12 x 18 = 216 sq. inch

    216 + 864=1080 sq. inch

    1080 x 0.05 = $54

    she spent a total of $54
