    The equation is y=2x+5

    why?

    2x-y=5

    y=2x-5

    from here we can find the slope, which is 2, and we know that parallel lines have equal slopes

    the standard form of eq of line is y=mx+b

    substitute y and x with the numbers from ordinate pair (3,11):

    11=3*2+b

    6+b=11

    b=5

    Now you can write the eq of line:

    y=2x+5
