Jose traveled to the town hall and back. The trip there took five hours and the trip back took four hours. He averaged 35 km/h on the return trip. Find the average speed of the trip there.

    If he traveled back with an average of 35km/h and did it in 4 hours then the distance he traveled is 35 x 4 = 140 km

    The trip there took him 5 hours so his average speed = 140/5

    average speed of trip there=28km/h
