Someone drove 20 miles in 24 minutes at this rate how many miles did they drive in 6 minutes

    Distance = rate * time (I will abbreviate as d = rt)

    d = rt, so r = d/t

    r = 20mi/24min

    = 0.833333 mi/min.

    d = rt again for the new time

    d = 0.8333333 mi/min * 6 min = 5 miles
