    2x-6+5x=10x+30 - - - Combine like terms

    7x-6=10x+30 - - - Subtract x from both sides

    -6=3x+30 - - - Subtract 30 from both sides

    -36=3x - - - Divide both sides by 3

    x=-12 (B)
