    4x-6y = 12

    Add 6y to both sides

    4x = 12 + 6y

    Subtract 12 on both sides

    4x - 12 = 6y

    Divide 6 on both sides

    y = 2/3 x - 2

    Next equation

    -2x + 3y = - 6

    Add 2x to both sides

    3y = 2x - 6

    Divide 3 on both sides

    y = 2/3x - 2
