Lenard spent 1/4 of his money on a sandwich. He spent 2 times as much on a gift for his brother. He had 3/8 of his money left. What fraction of his money did he spend on his brothers gift?

    There is something incorrect, 2/8 of his money should be left not 3/8

    Lenard spent 2 times of 1/4 his money, which means

    2 * 1/4 = 1/2 of his money was spent on his brothers gift
