If f (x) = 2x-6 and g (x) = 3x+9 find (f-g) (x)

    (f - g) (x) = - x - 15

    note (f - g) (x) = f (x) - g (x)

    = 2x - 6 - (3x + 9) = 2x - 6 - 3x - 9 = - x - 15
