6 quizzes. 8/4 is 2 and 12/6 is also 2. If he takes 2 quizzes per week, he will have taken 12 by the 6th week.

    Step-by-step explanation:

8/4 is 2 quizzes per week, so assuming he takes an equal amount of quizzes each week he will have taken 12 quizzes by the 6th week because 12/6 is also 2.

    2 week

    Step-by-step explanation:

    8 quizzes per 4 weeks = 8/4

Lowest term 8/4 = 2/1. So two quizzes per week is the rate

12 (total of quizzes) - 8 (quizzes over the course of 4 weeks) = 4 quizzes left

Since the rate is 2/1, it will be 4/2 or 4 quizzes per two weeks.

so the answer is two weeks
