Two angles of a triangle measure 47 degree and 59 degree What is the measure of the third angle? Show the work

    The answer is 80 ... they all have to add up to 180

    If you add all of the angles of a triangle together, it will always be 180 degrees. So we can use that to find the answer.

    First of all, let's add the angles we already have.

    47 + 59 = 106

    But we want to find the last angle. So now we subtract 106 and 180 (remember to put the bigger number first).

    180 - 106 = 74

    The last angle of the triangle is 74 degrees.
