The Eiffel Tower is about 301 meters tall. Cooper is making a scale model of it using the scale 750 meters : 1 meter. To the nearest tenth of a meter, what will be the height of the scale model? Enter your answer in the box.

    In this item we let x be teh height of hte scale model of the Eiffel tower then us the concept of ratio and proportion to determine its value. That is,

    750 / 1 = 301 / x

    The value of x is calculated as below.

    x = 301 / 750

    Simplifying,

    x = 0.4

    Hence, the answer to this item is 0.4 meters.
