What is the 60th term in the pattern with the formula 2n + 10

    The formula is 2n+10

    Since n cannot be negative or zero, putting n=1

    A1=2n+1 = 2 (1) + 10=12

    A2=2n+1=2 (2) + 10=14

    A3=2n+1=2 (3) + 10=16

    And so on

    Now, a=12; d=2; n=60

    A60=a + (n-1) d

    =12 + (60-1) 2

    =12+59*2

    =12+118

    =130
