    (x - 3) ² = y - 4

    y = (x - 3) ² + 4

    One solution is located at the vertex: (3, 4).

    y = - x + b

    4 = - 3 + b

    b = 7

    (x - 3) ² = - x + 7 - 4

    x² - 6 x + 9 = - x + 3

    x² - 5 x + 6 = 0

    x² - 2 x - 3 x + 6 = 0

    x (x - 2) - 3 (x - 2) = 0

    (x - 2) (x - 3) = 0

    x 1 = 2, x 2 = 3

    y 1 = 5, y 2 = 4.

    In order for this solution to be reasonable, the 2nd equation must be:

    y = - x + 7
