In total it would be $10.71
Turn the percent into a decimal, 6% into 0.06. Then multiply that with 8.50.
8.50*0.06 = 0.51
Now, turn 20% into a decimal and multiply that with 8.50.
8.50*0.20 = 1.70
Then, add 0.51 and 1.70 to 8.50.
0.51+1.70+8.50 = 10.71
