    Adjacent=a

    Hypotenuse=h

    Pythagorean theory is h^2=a^2+k^2

    A2 (squared) + B2 (squared) = C2 (squared)

    With the 3 sides of the triangle C is the hypotenuse. So whatever the hypotenuse equals it is C. A&B are the other 2 sides and you can use that formula.
