3*10 - 8 = 30 - 8 = 22 Without brackets to indicate otherwise, you multiply before adding or subtracting especially when the multiplication is on the left.
2*3*k = 6k
6x + 22 = 6k + 22 There's definite solution to this equation. There are an infinite number of solutions that will work.

The equation simplifies to 6k + 22 = 6k + 22 and since both sides are equal, there are "infinitely many solutions"
