    3 = Ln (x + 9)

    To clear a natural log you will add a base 'e' to both sides.

    e^3 = e^ (Ln (x + 9))

    Using the power rule and identity rule, the e^ (Ln) = 1, and the (x + 9) becomes a coefficient.

    e^3 = (x + 9) * 1

    e^3 = x + 9

    e^ 3 - 9 = x

    11.09 = x
