Ten pounds of rice are distributed equally into 6 bags to give out at the food bank. How many pounds of rice are in each bag?

    Its simple just divide the total of pounds by the total of bags;

    10 lb of rice : 6 bags = 1.67 lb (rounded to the nearest hundredth)

    so there's 6 bags with 1.67 pounds each.
