60 people are invited to a party there are 24 cups in a package and 18 napkins in a package what is the least number of packages of cups and napkins that can be bought if each party guest gets one cup and one napkin

    You divide 60 by the number of cups and napkins separately and round your answer up.

    60 divided by 24 = 2 1/2 or 3

    60 divided by 18 = 3 1/3 or 4

    You need 3 packages of napkins and 2 of cups
