Frannie currently weighs 41 pounds. The vet would like to see her weigh 36 pounds. What percent of her body weight does she need to lose?

    Frannie's vet would like her to lose 12% of her body weight. You find this by subtracting 41-36=5 and then finding that. 12x41 also equals 5, therefore 12% of 41 is 5.
